As noted in the manual: Please reach out to us to discuss your deployment plans as early as you can in the process. Check with us or some other professional who knows the currents and winds in your area before launch. We have numerous launching sites where we know your miniboat will have a good chance of riding the right winds and currents, and we can also assist with launching off a commercial fishing boat, container ship, maritime training vessel, NOAA research vessel or private yacht. We can also connect you with others in your area who may want to launch with you.
