Ocean YES

We named our boat M/B Ocean YES because “YES” represents the courage to face challenges and the willingness to move forward with a positive attitude. “Ocean” represents our love for the sea and our desire to explore and understand it. Together, the name expresses our crew’s shared hope to sail bravely into the unknown and inspire more people to care about the ocean.

We would like to thank National Taiwan Ocean University, the Ocean Affairs Council of Taiwan, and Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) for their generous support and sponsorship of this project.

On October 19, students, teachers, and partners attended a special ceremony before launching the miniboats themselves!

The boats immediately started heading north.
