A Mini Experiment: Miniboats and Makerbuoy Drifters
The DMS Anita miniboat was launched on June 8, 2024. Shortly after launch, 3 MakerBuoy Drifters were also set to sea (as shown in the picture to the right).
The map below shows the last 30 days of data from the four systems.
This is an experiment for Educational Passages to show the value in launching various instrumentation to better understand how our ocean is changing.
