Educational Passages is planning two panel presentations, with experts from around the country and the world at the upcoming National Marine Educators Conference (NMEA).
One panel discusses “Bringing the Ocean into Your Classroom” and will address ways students use miniboats and drifters to work with experts, developing new ways to explore the ocean and learn earth science.
The second panel discussion, “Using Drifters and Miniboats as Economical Research Platforms”, intends to discuss the scientific potential these projects have for the classroom and beyond.
